With hands-on experience working alongside esteemed film directors like Somalatha Subasinghe, Ashoka Handagama, Upathni has honed her creative flair. Her journey spans a 6-month internship at News 1st, MTV MBC, and CMC Pvt Limited as a news editor. along with five years of experience as a creative writer. A passionate researcher and editorial assistant at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, she also serves as an assistant editor for the International Journal of Governance and Public Policy Analysis (IJGPPA).
