Story Sena (Milton Jayawardena) plays a weak character who is sent to a boarding school at a well-to-do city university by his family. They mortgage everything they own to pay for his education. Their future happiness is thus in the hands of Sena. Sena however succumbs to the temptations of the city life and fails in becoming a success.
The impoverished family takes on the titular scheme offered by the Government to settle in the Nort Central province.
